I added the following caption to a picture of Keith that I got from another site here. But that site, as of October 11, 2013, is currently under construction.
Keith "The Snake" Larsen leads Danny "Berzerkoo" Becker at Costa Mesa in 1982. Keith Larsen was a boyhood friend and neighbor. He lived in the second house on the south side of Conata just east of Bettyhill. When Keith got the spark to ride speedway, he and my brother Joe, and Eric Bergquist would empty out Keith's garage (or his dad's garage) and rinse it out, leaving the slick concrete floor wet. Keith would start from the opposite side of his street on the sidewalk and race up his driveway into the garage and then hydroplane as deep into his garage as he could without crashing. It was a lot of fun. It was Keith and Joe who were the best at it. See more Irwindale Speedway pictures here. You can find Keith in pictures #20, #297, #298, and #317.
